Okay so I have one thing of frosting: Cream Cheese, but several types of cake and I have no idea what tastes good with it.
Yellow
Butter Recipe Yellow
White
Carrot (I’d like to avoid this one…)
Angel Food
And Cinnamon Swirl.

Which should I use, or should I just dig around for brownies?
Sounds like cinnamon swirl is the most popular! Besides the carrot cake, but I’m not sure if anyone in my family like carrot cake except for my sisters, and they run away from cream cheese! :)

Well, carrot cake and spice cakes THE ULTIMATE CLASSIC to go with cream cheese, but since you’re not a fan of that, try the cinnamon swirl.

Angel food will be too weighed down by the cream cheese frosting. Yellow, white and butter yellow are more associated with butter cream frosting.
