Well, I went to court finally against my ex-boyfriend. He was found guilty in all four counts. 3 misdemeanor communicating threats and 1 stalking. But here’s the thing, originally, he was sentenced to 60 days in jail, supervised probation afterward, plus psychological examination. He chickened out and cried an appeal. Now with the appeal, I would have to wait another 2 years to take him to supreme court. I didn’t want to deal with this anymore so we cut him a deal. Now he has 2 years probation plus psychological examination. Is probation a cake walk? I’m glad that we won, but after what he put me and my family through, does the punishment fit the crime?
